About
A casino directory that shows its work
Most casino review sites read like rewritten press kits. Ratings drift up over time. The thing that pays the bills - affiliate commission - is the same thing that decides who gets a recommendation. TrustCasino exists because that arrangement is bad for players, and because the public data needed to do better is already out there.
The premise
Almost everything that makes a casino trustworthy is already a matter of public record. Regulators publish licensee registers. Audit firms publish RNG and RTP reports. Companies House and its equivalents publish ownership. Mediators publish complaint outcomes. National self-exclusion schemes publish operator integrations.
The problem isn’t the lack of data. The problem is that nobody stitches it together in one place, dates it, and shows the working. That’s what TrustCasino does.
What makes us different
- →Same scoring, every operator. No editorial knob can push a score up or down. The number comes from a fixed catalog of signals applied uniformly.
- →Sources on every row. Each signal links to the primary source (regulator, audit firm, registry) - not to a secondary review aggregator.
- →Verification dates that mean something. Each signal has a freshness window. Past it, the signal is flagged stale and excluded from the headline score until re-verified.
- →No paid placement. Operators cannot buy their way into the directory, change their tier, or move up a ranking. Affiliate commission, where it exists, is disclosed and does not affect scoring.
- →Corrections in public. When a source moves or a signal is wrong, we re-verify and the date updates. The history is part of the record.
How we pay for this
TrustCasino is funded by a small number of affiliate links to operators that meet a minimum trust tier. Where a link includes a referral parameter, that’s disclosed on the page. The arrangement only works in one direction: an operator’s tier determines whether the link exists at all, and the link never determines the tier.
We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or consideration to alter coverage. The day the directory becomes dependent on revenue from any single operator is the day it stops being useful.
What we are not
We are not a regulator. We are not a payment provider. We do not host games, take deposits, or hold player funds. We are an editorial directory. If you have a dispute with an operator, escalate to the regulator named on the operator’s licence and to the ADR body named in the operator’s terms.
We also are not a substitute for your own judgement. A high score means the verifiable signals look strong today. It does not promise they will tomorrow.
Who runs the site
TrustCasino is a small editorial team. We’re happy to put names against published assessments where doing so is useful; credits and version history are coming as the directory expands. Until then, you can reach the team through the addresses below.

Responsible gambling
Online casinos are entertainment products designed to keep you engaged. They are not income, and they are not a way out of debt. If gambling is starting to feel less like fun and more like something you have to do, that is the signal to stop. Help is available - for example, BeGambleAware, Gamblers Anonymous, and self-exclusion services like GAMSTOP.
